Does the future excite you? We have an exciting new opportunity for a Barcelona-based translator/digital content producer – fluent in Catalan, Castellano and English (Catalan or Spanish mother-tongue).
About us: Atlas of the Future showcases future-focused, socially impactful people and their projects via online media and offline events. Our mission is democratising the future. We’re excited to launch the platform in Spanish and Catalan and are looking to work with someone for an initial 6-month contract.
About you: The essential part of the job is the translation into Castellano and Catalan – capturing the style, personality and impact of the English site. You need excellent writing and sub-editing skills, an eye for detail, a thirst for knowledge across all sectors and a passionate interest in the future. Part of a small team, you need to be self-motivated and able to meet deadlines.
You will work on our WordPress website, with some original story research and publishing, and across social media platforms to help increase reach and engagement. So being social media savvy is a plus. We are looking for a well-presented individual with a positive outlook, a sense of humour and motivated to make a difference.
